Eastbourne’s Specialist Running Shop

Tempo provides footwear for running, walking, lifestyle activities and for helping with various foot conditions. Tempo can provide a free complimentary gait assessment as part of the shoe buying service. Located on Susans Road in Eastbourne, the store has been helping runners and walker alike for over 12 years. The store is open on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. On Thursdays, we provide a delivery service and can drop off shoes in the local area.

How do I choose the right running shoes for my gait?

Our in-store specialists perform a complimentary video gait analysis to identify your pronation pattern and strike type. Based on the results, we recommend models that provide the ideal balance of cushioning, support, and responsiveness for your unique stride. All we ask is that customers requesting a gait assessment, do so with the intention of wanting to make a purchase.

Can I try the shoes on?

Yes. As part of our service you can try the different models of shoes that we offer on the treadmill, allowing you to test them out and ensure you are completely happy with their fit and performance.

What Brands do you stock?

Here at Tempo, we only provide specialist running shoes from the leading brands, for example: Brooks, On, Hoka, Mizuno, New Balance, Saucony and Adidas.
If you require a model from the brands listed above that we don’t hold in stock, we can most likely source these for you.

Tempo Reward Card

As much as we would love our favourite shoes to last forever, unfortunately they don’t, this can lead to a decrease in performance and an increase in risk of injury.

To ensure maximum comfort and performance you should look to replace your shoes when the support starts to breakdown, or you notice the lack of bounce from the foam.

Tempo provide a reward card with each purchase which provides you with an increasing discount on subsequent purchases.
